The chino for the guy who wears jeans, as our stylist puts it: It's the most authentic chino there is, based on the original standard-issue No. 55 T-10000 officer's surplus chino from the early 1930s. It's made with imported, vintage-style cotton slub twill, faded and frayed for a vintage look and finished with genuine, nearly unbreakable, military-grade melamine buttons. We gave it our 10-year wash—over five hours of heavy washing and hand finishing—to give it the distressed look and feel of its vintage inspiration. Details include split-back trouser construction, a classic officer's pocket watch pocket and service-inspired internal screen prints and labeling. Button fly. A Collector's Item. Import.
