Wallace & Barnes is a new collection of old favorites, built using the foundations of traditional workwear, vintage military uniforms and classic outdoor gear as our guide. This limited-edition jacket is a casual take on the traditional British gentlemen's jacket (but better suited for the rugged wayfarer than the refined dandy). Crafted in a lightweight twill blend, it's the perfect transitional piece that you'll end up wearing year-round.
Vancouver-based Homespun Knitwear, creator of 1930s-inspired workwear, has now made their collection available in the United States exclusively through J.Crew. These slim-fitting henleys are meant to be worn as undershirts in the style of the industrious coal miners, iron workers and railroad men who relied on clothing that worked as hard as they did. Untouched by bleaching or optical brighteners, each piece has been left unrefined for a unique, authentic look. And since we're the sole Homespun stockist in the U.S., you'll only find them here.
A new collection of old favorites built using the foundations of traditional workwear, vintage military uniforms and classic outdoor gear as our guide. Constructed from a 14-ounce right-hand twill (aka Z twill), an unsanforized red-line selvedge cotton woven on narrow shuttle looms from one of Japan's oldest mills. Using a pair of jeans that Frank, our head men's designer, has broken in over the years as a reference, we've painstakingly reproduced the finish to give it that perfect had-it-forever feel.
Sits below waist.
Straight through hip, slim through thigh, with a slim leg.
Mougin & Piquard might be the greatest watchmaker you've never heard of (hint: It's pronounced mooj-awe and peek-are). Started by the Mougin family in 1852—Piquard joined in the 1920s—the company later shut its doors, and its watches have been collector's items ever since. Now, thanks to watch authority Tourneau®, this once-defunct brand is back just for us. Based on sketches discovered in the Mougin & Piquard archives, the design resurrects the golden age of watchmaking. Referencing pilots' watches (made to fit over the cuffs of aviator jackets), each one is hand assembled in Switzerland using Swiss quartz movements, but you'll only find them here.
