Microsoft Internet Explorer To determine if you need to upgrade your browser, click on 'Help > About Internet Explorer' in the top menu bar in the upper left corner of the browser window. Within the window that pops up, you will see a phrase "Cipher Strength", followed by either 40-bit, 56-bit, or 128-bit. If you see 56-bit, you need to upgrade or adjust your browser. To upgrade your browser (recommended), click on the "Update Information" link on the same line. A new window will open connecting to Microsoft's upgrade site. Follow the instructions on the page. The process takes only two or three minutes. To adjust your browser (easiest fix), click on 'Tools > Internet Options' in the top menu bar in the upper left corner of the browser window. Within the Internet Options window, select the 'Advanced' tab at the top. Scroll down to the 'security' set of checkboxes and uncheck the box titled 'Use SSL 3.0'. This process takes less than a minute. We apologize for this temporary inconvenience.
