J.Crew gladly honors price adjustments on full-price merchandise within 7 days of the mail order ship date, when accompanied by the original retail receipt or mail order packing slip. In order to receive a refund on the duties paid for an item returned, please note that the following process must be observed according to Japanese Customs Law. You must request documentation from Yamato regarding the duty paid, and bring goods and paperwork to a post office that handles Customs duty refunds to apply for your refund there. For exchanges, the above process must be followed to receive a duty refund on the item exchanged, and Japanese Customs will collect duty on the new item.
