Our guarantee: We guarantee our merchandise to be free of manufacturing defects, and will accept any defective item for refund or exchange.

Within 60 days of original purchase: J.Crew gladly accepts returns of unworn, unwashed or defective merchandise for full refund. Refunds must be accompanied by the original receipt and will be made in the form of the original payment. If the original receipt is unavailable, we'll make an exchange or issue a merchandise credit based on the current selling price.

After 60 days of original purchase: J.Crew will gladly make an exchange or issue a merchandise credit for the price at the time of sale (with original receipt) or for the current selling price (without original receipt).

Monogrammed or personalized items may not be returned or exchanged.

All in-store refunds and exchanges require a government-issued photo ID.


J.Crew gladly honors a one-time price adjustment on full price merchandise within seven days per style of the retail purchase or mail order ship date if accompanied by the original receipt. Items not purchased at full price are ineligible for price adjustments.


A check will be sent for all returns on items purchased with a personal check. Please allow at least 14 business days for mail check to arrive.

  • Your packing slip will include a prepaid, preaddressed return label.
  • No postage is required, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund (one item $5.95, two or more items $7.50).
