Introduced in 1924 as a cowboy jean, the Lee 101 (the "B" refers to the metal-shank button fly) is an American classic and, although it has evolved through the years, it remains true to its workwear roots. Designed in collaboration with J.Crew, this pair is constructed in 13.75-ounce Japanese selvedge denim, an archive fabric in an iconic left-hand twill (a softer denim) authentically duplicated right down to the signature tick that appears on only one of the selvedge edges, and is finished off with accurate details pulled from the Lee archives (thread X bar-tacks at the back pockets, low-profile metal rivets and the unique spade-shape back pocket with Lee's lazy S stitch detail). The unique-to-J.Crew labeling features the laurel leaf motif first used by Lee when founded in 1889 as a dry goods brand.
Straight through hip and thigh, with a straight leg.
