Product Details
Established in 1859 by Henry W. Carter in Lebanon, New Hampshire, H.W. Carter & Sons was one of America's first denim workwear manufacturers. By 1890, the company had become synonymous with tough and reliable clothing. That can-do spirit lives on with this hard-wearing jean, constructed in sturdy 12.5-ounce homespun neppy selvedge denim from North Carolina's Cone Mills. Neppy selvedge is a unique denim product that contains entangled fibers (which show up as tiny specks), which give it a slightly uneven, irregular appearance. Cut with a slim-straight fit, it features a shank button-fly closure, patch pockets at the back and a vintage Carters Overalls label.
