This lighter-weight layer was inspired by the vintage U.S. naval jackets traditionally found in a cadet's seabag. Aptly named for a ship's Chief Petty Officer (rarely asked to stand watch, a CPO had no need for the heavy peacoats worn by enlisted men), it's the perfect third piece that functions as a jacket on those crisp but not yet cold days of fall, layers easily under a heavier coat when the weather takes a turn for the worse and works overtime as a blazer or sportcoat while indoors. A design favorite (and a style often sported by that icon of cool, Jack Kerouac), it's finished with authentic details including anchor buttons and flap pockets at the chest. Wool/nylon. Fold-down collar. Functional buttons at cuffs. Side vents with gussets. Import. Dry clean.
