Mougin & Piquard might be the greatest watchmaker you've never heard of (hint: it's pronounced mooj-awe and peek-are). Started by two Frenchmen—Ernest Mougin and Paul Piquard—in the 1920s, the company shut their doors a half century later and their watches have been sought after by collectors ever since. Thanks to world-renowned watch authority Tourneau®, this once-defunct brand is back just for us. Based on sketches discovered in the Mougin & Piquard archives and details from our designers' collection of antique watches, the design resurrects the golden age of watchmaking. Referencing pilots' watches from the 1920s (made to fit over the cuffs of aviator jackets), they feature an outer dial displaying minutes and seconds and an inner dial showing the hour. Each one is hand assembled in Switzerland using Swiss quartz movements, but you'll only find them here.
