Product Details

This dress is all about the shirred bodice: First, our designers gathered and stitched the crinkled silk chiffon to create a cool sunburst effect, then they added a notch detail at the neckline to give it a modern edge. The skirt's flowy, lightweight layers are ideal for tropical beach ceremonies (with jeweled sandals and one of our statement necklaces) but look equally alluring in ballrooms and backyards.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So many compliments! I wore this dress in "dark bluegrass" to a fall wedding and received so many compliments on the style and color. The color is true to the picture, definitely more of a dark teal than an emerald blue. The fit of the dress is fairly true to size; length was perfect for me (I'm 5'8) but the bodice was a bit tight, most likely because of the built in corset/bra. This also caused it to be incredibly difficult to get on by myself. If you are more well endowed I recommend going up a size to be safe. Also have a steamer available, as the lower part of the dress has wrinkles from being folded. Overall it's a beautiful dress and I would definitely recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty bustier and well thought out I got this one in 2 colors grey and the dark teal.. Very flattering although as an other reviewer said its tight just under the bust. I find it very interesting and clever how they made an incorporated bra which you clip and zip up under the actual silk shiffon, which zips up over it so you don't get any cuts into the skin or tightness on the 'back fat ;), or if you do the back of the dress covers it..) . The bustier is well made and curves onto the chest a bit. After reading reviews i got a size smaller i am usually a 4 and 36 b and ordered a 2 , there is some tightness on my ribcage but there is some room in the bust, but because the bustier is a little like a curved shell, it doesn't pose a problem, if anything it gives the tatas a little 'lift' . I think they could 'fix' this tightness around the ribcage by simply replacing the bottom band of the bra which doesn't have any strechiness, think ribbon. with more of an elastic fabric. Other than that beautiful and flowey dress..

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful dress designed for alterations This dress is absolutely gorgeous and will be perfect for an early Summer wedding in Wisconsin. I am a 36C and usually a size 8 for bridesmaids dresses. At first I ordered a size 10 however it was EXTREMELY tight in the rib cage area. I returned it and ordered a size 12 which was too big but the good news is that this dress was designed to be altered. I ended up having it taking in on the upper part of the dress as well as the sides of the dress because it had too much material and didn't flow naturally the way that the size 10 did. I also had to have it hemmed just above the knee because the length of the dress ended up being too long. I highly recommend that you order the dress at least 1 size bigger and if you have a wider rib cage than others, I'd suggest ordering 2 sizes bigger and getting it altered. Anyone who has been a bridesmaid in the past knows that you end up spending more in one way or another but this dress is worth it; literally.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from tricky fit; I prefer the Marbella The tricky thing about this dress' fit is the interior corset. (The "corset" is just a layer of non-stretch fabric that hooks and zips in the back.) In size 4, the corset fits me fine, but the too-large chiffon elements gap and wrinkle unattractively. In size 2, the chiffon fits better, but the corset won't close. In any case, the Marbella looks much better on me. I'm 5'4" 135lb 35/28/37.5. JCrew's charts place me between sizes 4 and 6.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing Fabric Loved the look of this dress online and thought it would make an ideal bridesmaids dress for my sister wedding. Unfortunately it made the smallest part of my body (my waist) look really wide and the fabric felt like crepe paper. Beautiful colour, but the fit was all wrong. I bought 4 different styles in the same fabric and returned them all.
