Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great all-around short I got these in "dusty berry" and they are awesome. The color is perfect, the fit is great, and the material is perfect and lightweight for the summer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Length I basically made this purchase because of the length which was 7". I had tired of the 10.5" length. J Crew appears to be one of the few companies that offer different lengths. I would have preferred the regular weight chino (essential chino) but they were not available. These lightweight chinos wrinkle too easily but are still quite comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid set of chino shorts. I wear a 32" inseam and I usually like my shorts with an inseam of 31", but because of a trip in the sun in Mexico I needed something a bit shorter. Shorts sit a little lower than mid thigh on my 6'2 height and are slimming and true to size. Comfy to wear on an all day beach trip and would definitely buy more colors down the road.
