Women's Sperry® for J.Crew Shearwater buckle boots in colorblock

I was looking for a more streamlined practical alternative to my Keens for trekking around the city & for messy commutes. These are perfect! They're true to size: I'm a typical 7M & the 7M fits great. That said, I think they might feel a little tight if I wore super thick winter socks. But I like wearing thinner cashmere socks for staying local. They're warm! I wore them in 20 degree weather/windchill 5-10 & my feet were cozy. Even better, my feet remained dry when I sloshed through those gross deep slushy puddles. These are cute & very practical. Thrilled to get them on sale! Highly recommend. Note: They arrived in a very broken shoe box, but so thrilled with the style & performance, who cares!

I like the style and the color so for me is elegant and easy to clean.

These are nice and run very big. I had to return it for a smaller size. I'm still undecided as I bought the black ones as well. The color block is cute but I haven't put them to the test yet.

I reviewed black version Jan 2015, but JC doesn't allow updates to reviews, so reviewing blond version to update my criticism. First, yes, reviews apparently work bc they've improved them. Laces are no longer leather so they're not as difficult to keep tied, but they still fall off the top hooks - annoying since retying laces unnecessary for on/off function. They still fit small, but more TTS than before. I'd still buy 1 size larger for wiggle room and thick socks bc sheepskin lining does not envelope foot, fuzzy only insole & shank. The vamp is not as shallow as 2 years ago, improvement again. They are quite wide however, and I know this is helpful for creating warmth (fitted boots are not warm unless it's full on sheepskin), but they've made them so wide that even with thick socks they are rather sloppy. For me that's a deal breaker because I can't afford to break an ankle if my foot twists inside the boot. Leather upper is beautiful. Sheepskin perfect thickness. Two tone gorgeous.

These Sperry boots are awesome. They are really comfortable and warm. It hasn't rained really hard yet but they do pretty well with light rain. I love the combination of red laces and red sole. I'm usually a 9 for shoes so I ordered them in a 9 and they fit perfectly. Don't hesitate and buy them!

These turned out to be a great buy. They fit well and keep me super warm. They are also very comfortable.
