Nordic down parka

Nordic down parka is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 19.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mostly a Winter Wonderland So, the Bad. -It isn't waterproof so even light/medium rain will soak through, light snow will not. -It's also a tad heavy but that's expected given how warm it is. -The fit is slightly boxy and bigger than expected even using the drawstrings. All the Good. -The larger size does allow for layering underneath but unless you're in 10 degree weather, you might not need to layer, the coat is that warm. I would recommend you try it in the store first for fitment and warmth. -Has a ton of pockets, I'm talking 12+ in different sizes, one of which is big enough for a tablet. -The non-removable hood is lined with faux-shearling and definitely helps keep the head warm. The faux-fur is detachable. -The coat in total is designed to keep in the warmth and keep out the cold, from every point of entry and exit. -Love that there are chest level exterior pockets to keep my hands warm as I walk. Bottom line Worth the price and I recommend it to everyone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Parka, Room for Improvement I bought this parka for NYC winter. Jacket body seems insulated enough to handle cold and windy NYC days, cuffing at sleeves and neck a big help. Hood is generous, can comfortable wear beanie hat, sherpa lining is great w/o hat. The exterior pockets help manage your gear on the go, and interior pockets large enough to store beanie and gloves. I find the upper sleeve pocket somewhat useless and unreachable. As noted elsewhere, with the fur removed the hood is a little awkward looking. Room for improvement: -I think the fur is too large and faux hair too long. -Hood adjustment isn't very easy and cinch strings don't do much. -Waist cinch didn't offer much for my trim 140lb body. -Would prefer Storm flap snap-buttons

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice winter coat. I just got this for NYC winters. I think it is true to size, maybe runs slightly large, but it is a parka. I'm 6'1 215 pounds with broad shoulders and he L fits with plenty of room. I would have like to see the bottom of the cost a littler slimmer, but overall it's a very nice cost for cold winters.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from High Quality Warm Parka Purchased it for Toronto winters, didn't feel cold for a single second! Very high quality feel, only issue is I'm usually a medium for outerwear and it is a little tight on the shoulders. I'd recommend trying both your normal size and also sizing up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Get one! Great parka. A bit heavy, runs a bit large (consider size down if you like slim fit), but when the cold comes you are very well protected.
