Rated 5 out of 5 by from the perfect everyday suit Let's face we all love denim, especially Japanese, old loom, denim. As it wears, it conforms to the body and just feels good. Good as it is, it's hard to image it in a suit. That's why I love this suit. The fabric is real Japanese chambray and when I first opened the box it reminded me of a really nice pair of jeans. There is something about indigo, the feel, the aroma, the look. As, I've worn the suit it has begun to conform to my body and move with me. There is a casual elegance to the creases that are beginning to work their way into the fabric. I can't imagine taking it to the cleaners. They might press it! I think I will buy the dark navy also, just more elegant occasions. How about an indigo chambray tuxedo?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ludlow Suit in Japanese Chambray Absolutely killer suit. After wearing it on a few occasions at work, and while representing clients in court, I have received numerous complements on the suit, including one from a Superior Court Judge.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous. Just gorgeous. The fabric, the fit, the colour, the weight, everything. I had my tailor make a slight adjustment to the sleeve length, but otherwise, as an off-the-rack suit, it's an astonishingly pleasing fit. I've had a long love affair with Japanese fabrics and this most definitely doesn't disappoint. The small detail work is lovely, and I feel this is a suit that will actually age gracefully; I'm excited to "wear it in" a bit! I couldn't be more impressed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Stylish and Unique This suit is a beautiful impostor. It looks much more expensive and stylish than you would expect for the price and material. I was curious how the Japanese Chambray would feel and if the overall silhouette of the suit would be flattering. I was very pleased overall. I wore the suit for an event in the early Fall and in the evening and ambient night light it actually looked much darker (almost gray). I felt appropriately dressed with a Ludlow dress shirt and dark JCrew wool tie. I also think the heaviness of the chambray makes it actually a good transition to Fall piece when paired with darker shirts and ties. For day, it sort of fully comes out as navy and you can see the classic chambray fabric. Pair it for day with a smart gray t-shirt for more casual look. I will be buying more Ludlow as the sizing and quality are simply right on the money. And the styling gives you so many options to dress up or down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from classic jacket recast in chambray The ludlow jacket fit and quality should already speak for itself. I'd say you will take some time to break it in. The drape won't be like your other wool jackets at first. More reason to wear this jacket more often.
