Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't Be Beat I looked all over for a jacket that I could wear during the spring, fall and winter. Something that looked good but wasn't a bulky parka or a thin military jacket, both of which I already own. I remembered liking a Barbour jacket that a friend showed me a year or so ago so I decided to go for it and man, I'm glad I did. I'm 5'9 190 with a muscular build and short torso. Normally I'm in between a M and L depending on the brand so I bought a Large and it fits GREAT. I would say it definitely runs a little small but it just so happens to work out perfect for me. I've had the jacket for about three weeks, wear it almost daily and have gotten a ton of compliments. If you're on the fence, jump off and buy it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Handsome Jacket Interested in this coat? You probably have it going on. Hands down best jacket I have ever owned. Was not sure at first if I wanted to invest this much but now that I have it, I'm glad I did. I'm 5'8" 150 lbs. And the XS fit me wonderfully. Perfect arm length and just enough room to do some layering. This now, without question, is my go to/travel jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Try it on first. When I ordered this jacket, I was expecting to need a medium after reading the other reviews, which say to size up. I am 5'10", 155 lbs, 38 jacket, and 31/30-32/30 pants. I went in to a local store that carried Barbour and tried on the medium first. Didn't feel way too big, but definitely felt large. Tried on the small and it was a perfect fit. I made sure to wear a sweater and undershirt when I tried it on as well. Been wearing for a few days now and definitely glad I went with a small, still room for a liner. Be sure to try this on first if possible, or order two sizes and return one - This is a piece that will last a lifetime. Unbelievable quality, construction, materials. You will get tired of all the compliments.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Durable, classic looking coat First on sizing, Barbour tends to make their products boxy and short in the sleeves. I was intrigued by the notion that this was more of a fitted/slightly tailored cut. Fortunately, it is indeed! However, this is not a slim cut but the waist and lower half is not as wide as Barbour typically produces. I am 5'10", 170lbs, 40 chest, 31 waist and went with a L. The sleeves length was adequate and not short. In fact, I like wearing the jacket with the sleeves rolled just enough to see the corduroy cuffs. This is a nice Spring, early to mid Fall coat that you could layer under. Its a coat that you could wear out to dinner or to the office - or raking leaves in the backyard. The picture on the website is fairly accurate as the coat is a dark navy color with the corduroy color being slightly more of a lighter shade than the coat itself - but still dark blue. I do believe that this is going to be my primary go-to coat. I am pleased with this purchase.
