I bought these for myself. I'm a 61 year old woman. The adult sizes are all too large for me. I wear a 6 1/2. I was told by a person on Jcrew's chat that I should try the children's sizes. After sending back the K7 and K6 because they were way too big, I have ended up keeping the K5, even though they are still a little too big. I was afraid the K4 size would be too small. They really are beautiful. Super soft, color is brilliant and very comfortable. I only gave them 4 stars because of the sizing issue. I was told that they sometimes have them in the adult size 4.5. I think that size would be perfect, but have yet to see them in that size.

I always liked the adult version of these, however never splurged on them. My daughter needed black shoes to be worn to school every day as part of her uniform. They are made to last and stylish to boot! The only complaint is the slippery shoelaces that won't stay tied when my daughter ties them. These shoes are very versatile, she likes to wear them with dresses, knee high colorful socks as well as slacks. They literally go with everything!

Bought these for my son with the intention of passing them down to little sister - and so far so good. Really nice, well made boots which are timeless.

I'm a 72 year old woman who typically wears a women's shoe size 7 to 8, depending on the type of shoe. The boys size 5 is a perfect fit in these. I have a gray pair and a black pair. They are stylish, look great with jeans and cords and have good support. Very comfortable, even walking the dog a couple of miles.
