Fits big
Cheap finishing, unlined.
17 hours agoI wish the inside was lined, looks cheaply finished. It is very oversized and surprisingly lightweight. Would have liked it more had I bought it on sale.

Oversized and overpriced
22 hours agoI was very excited about this topcoat and went to the store to try on, and I am SO glad it did. This coat is huge. I typically wear a 2 or 4 in Jcrew coats and blazers, I needed a 0 in this. The material is very soft and cozy but almost looks like a robe and the pockets do not appear very polished, more on the sloppy side, not the look I am going for. This coat is unlined and very light, not worth full price in my opinion, maybe 50 or more percent off would be more appropriate. I have an ended up purchasing the long barn jacket instead, which I am very pleased with. I own several Jcrew coats, to include the Palais, Daphne (also unlined), and Lodge coat. Comparatively, this coat is mostly a disappointment.

Perfect!
4 days agoPerfect! This coat is truly amazing. I have several Jcrew wool coats from years past and I can already tell you this one is the favorite. I think the top coat style is a classic and will be with me for years to come. I have never had an unlined coat before so I was hesitant, but I am now a convert! It’s like wearing a sweatshirt or comfortable robe. I live in a colder climate and have already worn it for several hours outside with a sweater underneath and was toasty warm. It does run large. I originally bought an 8 and ended up with a 4–fitting thick clothing underneath comfortably. Love it! (And the camel color is beautiful)

Timeless perfection
1 week agoI’ve looked and looked for a coat like this, it’s unlined which I LOVE it’s literally perfect in every way. I’m 5’3 so I love that this is made in petite. It’s a great tailored but slouchy ii. perfect way all season timeless staple I’ll reach for over and over a blend of a wrap coat and a tailored top coat if you will. Old money vibes. Truly this is worth its weight in gold it's my most beautiful to date.
