Product Details

This Copenhagen-based outfitter has been producing utilitarian vintage-style outerwear inspired by the often-harsh Scandinavian weather, giving it a subtle streetwear twist, since 2004. This shirt is part of a collection inspired by Ivy League style. It's made in Portugal from loosely woven Japanese wool flannel and has a trimmer cut and higher button placement than classic shirts, so it looks and feels like a new idea.

Norse Projects™ lightweight flannel shirt

Rated 3 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 3 out of 5 by Nice shirt, very airy Fit is on the very slim side compared to other Crew shirts. Just know that the label in the shirt describes the fabric as "loose weave gauze". Its like wearing cheesecloth, as you walk you can feel the air ventilating through the shirt arms. Just not what I expected from a winter sale shirt, and not what I expected from the description of it being lightweight. February 29, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by NOT Machine-washable! This flannel shirt is really nice and soft, and it still does its job of keeping the wearer relatively warm despite being a lightweight garment. However, contrary to what the website said, the shirt is actually NOT machine-washable since it's made with wool, and only able to be dry-cleaned. I made the mistake of trusting the website and putting it straight into the washer before looking at the tag carefully, and the shirt is now no longer wearable. Check your labels before putting them into the washer! March 19, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by again with slim fit bought this shirt for vacation and was extremely disappointed. i'm 5'9 and 190 pounds so i'm average built. the shirt i purchased was a large but fit like a slim fit medium. just like most things these day from jcrew. i really wan to meet all the slim fit men that shop here because every time I'm in j crew all i see around me are guys my built struggling to find something to wear that fits!
