Rated 5 out of 5 by SDKelley Great jacket to pair with jeans..
I pay as much as $1,500 for sports jackets. It is very hard to find a really well made unstructured (unlined) jacket for informal occasions. The material, tailoring and style of this jacket is exceptional, and its profile doesn't make me look like it is too small.. The material is just as is stated in the ad. Burgundy is a good choice as it is a bit unusual. Great price, great quality.

The jacket was not as slim fitted as expected. It was boxy . The arm holds should have been higher.

Rated 3 out of 5 by DavidM It's a decent jacket
I can only speak for shorter guys, especially those of us with short legs and less-than-stellar physiques: this jacket seems a little too long. I like that the Ludlow line sticks to a classic cut but updates it for a younger clientele. And if you are really thin and fairly tall, this jacket will be great for you (if somewhat conservative). But if you're shorter, as I am, and if you're not rail thin—I'd say I'm "portly"—the jacket will wear a bit too long. For men of my build, it looks kind of old-fashioned instead of classic, kind of dumpy instead tailored. A slightly shorter cut would make it more universally attractive. Also, does every jacket need to have a double vent in the back? Can't we have an option for the same cut but with a single centered vent? Anyway, I like the fabric and it seems well-made, and it's light-weight enough for summer.

Great color, fabric and fit for summer. Looking forward to getting a lot of use out of this jacket for years to come.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Terry It fits good and is lightweight.
I recommend it be lined. This is not lined and it a little less than expected in that regard.
