Purchased at The Liquor Store. Finally, a quality, slim fit chino with a BUTTON FLY! I know, the selvedge chino has one, but this one is priced within the realm of reality. Great fit, maybe a hair looser in the waist than I'd like, but otherwise no complaints. Maybe a nice fatigue or olive color next? And more trousers with a button fly!

I am very satisfied with my purchase. These pants are well constructed and very comfortable. Yes the belt loops seems a little small and the pockets are a little shallow for me. I purchased a 32" inseam and had to fold over the cuff to get the right length. After 5 - 6 times being washed and put in the dryer the inseam has shrunk to the perfect length - no more fold over! I've since purchased the khaki and navy colors. Although the Cramerton Chino is my favorite these are a close 2nd, and the fatigue color reminds me of wearing my uncle's Vietnam surplus fatigues when I was much much younger

Rated 3 out of 5 by cecil great pants, weird belt loops
The belt loops are super narrow. Most of your belts won't fit. Really odd design choice.

Rated 3 out of 5 by enjay Terrific quality, weird fit.
Very much a fan of Wallace & Barnes, and was thrilled to see some very nice looking slim chinos on sale -- normally, W & B is a little pricey for me. The pants are obviously very well-constructed and made to a high standarrd. The olive color is striking. A somewhat strange thing is the very small belt loops. But my 1" dress belts, also from J. Crew, look great with them. The biggest problem for me is the fit. I thought the leg opening was big enough, but the taper on these is pretty profound. I have the same issue with the 770 fit pants. Especially when I've worn them once or twice and the fabric stretches slightly, they end up looking something like riding breeches, rather than pants, which is not a flattering look on me or anyone, unless they're in equestrian sports. Hope J. Crew eases up on the calves of their slim fits in the future. Thanks otherwise for the great quality and design.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Frank Great chinos in green
Nice button fly chinos, excellent quality. Twill fabric is the perfect balance, not too thick or thin. I really love the "safari green" color, my favorite shade of olive green that I've ever had in a pair of pants. Very nice modern cut that fits very neat. Legs are narrow compared to "classic" chinos, not really "work" pants, if that is the style you want.
