Rated 3 out of 5 by from Like a potato sack I agree with the other review. Bought this in a size small for my husband who is 5'11'' and pretty slim, especially in the arms and chest. This shirt is all puffy in the back when tucked into slacks. And it isn't a soft material, but I knew that when I bought it (saw it in-store). The style is great and exactly what I was looking for but we're going to exchange for an extra-small.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from J crew exception Normally Jcrew offers great quality and awesome fit.. but this cannot be labeled as Slim.. it may be slim on the waist but the arms and upper body are loose so you end up with a weird fit. It comes with a tag different from jcrew on the bottom behind the last button so it may be manufactured by another company for Jcrew. The only good thing about the shirt is the color.. Way better in person and in the sunlight.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing First, the feel of the shirt: rough and stiff- like wearing a burlap bag. (In fairness, I haven't had this experience with other J. Crew linen shirts.) Secondly, the fit: I'm 6' tall, 170 lbs., and wear a size 42 jacket and have a size 32 waist. While this "Ludlow" model shirt fits in the shoulders and chest, around the waist it billows out like a smock which is disappointing. I had hoped for a more fitted from J. Crew for guys with more athletic builds that don't have beer bellies. (Their "Slim" shirts fit in the waist but are too tight in the chest and shoulders, and their "Regular" size shirts are HUGE at the waist.) Needles to say, but it's going back...
