My husband looks great in this sweater layered over any of the J Crew button up shirts. He is 5'11" and 210 ish but has very broad shoulders so I got him an XL and I'm glad I did because it would have been too snug in the shoulders once layered otherwise. Good staple for Chicago fall/winter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Ryan Great look for fall.
Like the look and the color. Great for cooler fall days. The material really makes it the softest sweater I own. However, the fit was still a little too wide to be denoted as "slim" and the fabric does seem to shed a little.

Rated 2 out of 5 by BENS nice quality, but runs too large
I am athletically built at 6'2" and 170 lbs. J. Crew is my go-to store for sweaters because their sweaters are great quality and are one of the only brands slim enough to fit me. Despite the earlier reviews for this cardigan complaining its too small, I found this sweater to be very large despite the fact that its a slim fit. In fact, I have other J. Crew sweaters that are not slim fit that fit better than this one. I'm disappointed with this purchase, but can't return it since I bought it online final sale. sigh...

Rated 3 out of 5 by Nicole Loved sweater but fit too small for XL person
I purchased this sweater as a gift for my boyfriend. I was so excited to give it to him. BEAUTIFUL CARDIGAN. I buy most of his clothing and lounge wear at JCrew because I can rely on them for high quality merchandise and exceptional customer service. Unfortunately, this sweater didn't fit properly. I was aware that it was a "slim" fit but took a chance. While the slim fit didn't do him any favors it would have been ok if the sweater was long enough. My boyfriend is 6'2 and 220 but we can usually get away with a regular XL. Not this time. He looked like he was wearing a doll sweater. We were bummed. I would recommend it to someone more petite...looking for a really nice, fitted, waist length cardigan!
