Yes, the coat is big. I am normally an 8 or 10 in J.Crew blazers depending on the cut, 5’7” and 170 lbs. I went with a size 6 in this coat in the green and I absolutely love it. It fits and hangs exactly like it does on the model. Well structured, has a nice weight to it, and you can wear bulky sweaters or blazers underneath it and still look svelt. I found the green color rich and classy, though my colors of choice for my skin tone are typically greens, tans, and blues. This is a well-made coat that I’ll have for many years. I steam my trench coats after every wear to avoid deep wrinkles and don’t wear it sitting in my car on the way to or from work. So far I find it’s far less wrinkle-prone than my typical cotton trench coats (the wool helps), which I like. I would get the off white color, too, but any white fabric that’s not opaque that you can see through others me. I’d be curious to hear what others think who ordered the off white one.

The fabric and construction of this jacket is great, but it is terribly oversized and the color is not as pictured online. I am normally an 8 at jcrew and would have needed to go down at least 2 sizes for the same fit as the model. The green color appears vibrant online, but is a dull/muted army green in person. A nice garment, but not the color I expected and the sizing is off. I recommend going to a store to see it in person before purchasing.

Pretty coat to add flare to any outfit!

Nice trench coat, great color, but runs very large. Normally an XS, I would need to try a XXS to see if it will work. Great weight. Only problem with the cream, you can see the outline of the pockets/
