Rated 5 out of 5 by wilmassister bag for organization freaks (this is a good thing)
I'm fed up with digging around in totes, and I can't use a mini-bag for everyday, so first off, the size of this bag is fine. Next, I love flipping the bag open and seeing everything. There are 3 sections inside, and for privacy or extra security there's a zipper to close the center section, but you don't need to do this. Back section has a zipped pocket, center section has front (double) & back slip pockets, front section has another slip pocket! There's an external pocket for transit pass. Long crossbody strap can be adjusted to one-shoulder. Magnetic close plus leather strap gadget closure took about 5 minutes to learn. Bag will not tolerate being overstuffed. Pebbled leather is fine, note that the patient SA brought out 3 or 4 before I met one that felt just right. Attn JC: hoping to find this in black or wine as winter approaches. Also dark green.

Rated 2 out of 5 by redhead5571 Cute, but too small and heavy
I had high hopes for this bag, but it's skimpy on storage room and is too heavy; I wore it around the house and got a backache. Plus, loaded with just my wallet, phone, tissue packet, keys, and lipstick, it had no room for my glasses! And even with those few items, it hung open, and I needed both hands to close it. Not great if you're running to catch a train, or are carrying a package. The back pocket is almost useless; just room enough for a subway card. The bag is cute and classy looking, and the straps are nice and wide, but it could never be my everyday bag. Please, Crew, make a crossbody with more room and more outside pockets!

Rated 3 out of 5 by JCrewAddict Great design, dysfunctional top handle
While the brown leather is beautiful and design and quality are top notch for the price, the bag does suffer from several issues. First, it is surprisingly heavy given its size. Second, the magnetic closure plus strap combo is time consuming and is not sufficiently safe for public transportation and crowded situations, which the zipper would accommodate, if you have the time for that, leaving your contents inaccessible. The brass buckle was dull, not at all shiny. Lastly, the top handle cannot be used as a handle at all - all it is a section of the strap pulled through two loops, i.e. you will pull the entire strap out if you attempt to work the top handle. I wanted to love this bag, but it makes me paranoid over the security of its contents!
