AMO® Jane jean in recess wash

AMO® Jane jean in recess wash is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Stylish, Well-Crafted Jean. Just Not As Depicted. PRO'S: ~look of vintage, tightly woven, 100 % cotton jeans-but with 2% elastane and none of the bulk ~fun message inside pocket (won't give it away) ~❤️ detailing at the bottom ~if you like a quite snug fit, stop reading and order right this second NEUTRAL ~advertises high waist, hits right below belly button ~haven't worn them, so I cannot attest to the stretch factor ~worth the splurge? CON'S ~if you wanted to eat, say, a cough drop, I suggest sizing up ~purchased because of the kick crop--these are boot cut--cute, but not as depicted ~no petite offered--no worries usually--but part of this look is a kicky crop, and at 5'3", hits my ankle. I'm sorry, my 5'4" and under friends. ~the denim is darker than the pic. I have this vision in my head of the stylists rifling through a pile of Amo jeans on the day of the shoot, tossing one pair after another into the air, until finally-they find the perfectly faded pair. Those are the ones I want

Rated 3 out of 5 by from AMO Jane Jean in Recess Wash These are nice jeans. I enjoy wearing them. The price, seriously has me questioning my sanity. No denim jeans should cost this much. They are nice, but they aren't magical. I like the gently flared leg, I like the treatment at the hem which adds a touch of vintage or more rugged feel. I purchased these because I had a favorite jean of the same length and cut, slightly darker wash. I owned two pairs, 4 years ago, from another company. They cost less than half the price of these, and I wore them completely out until they are unusable. I have never seen this same cut/length since, so I was tempted to order. I'm keeping them, because they are the same basic thing I had and loved. The price though is truly CrAzY. No reason for it.
