The print is fun and vibrant. The fabric is thinner than expected for a Liberty print as I've bought Liberty print popovers before. Runs small - cute shirt, but recommend sizing up. Unfortunately will have to return and larger size is no longer available.

I wanted to like this shirt. I love Liberty fabrics but the fit was so small and narrow. I like a popover to be looser and longer. I just didn't like the fit. I usually wear a 8-10 in J Crew tops which is a little big on me. I ordered the 8 and it fit but was too fitted, The fabric is beautiful!

I typically love the Liberty offerings, but this pattern was a miss for me -- too cutesy and busy, particularly combined with the ruffle-style placket as opposed to the other popovers that have a collar. The fabric is the thicker Liberty fabric and so the placket doesn't want to stay "open" (note how the model is holding it here), so the effect was a very fussy buttoned-up look on me.
I vary between 4 and 8 in tops, typically a 4 in the popovers and silk shells and an 8 in the perfect shirt. I sized up to a 6 in this popover for the right fit.

I love almost everything Liberty. I was so excited when I saw this shirt online because I love ruffles. However, it fits more like a Classic fit shirt and I prefer a boy fit. If I size up, it will run too big in the shoulders and sleeves so I'm going to return it.

This shirt is comfortable, beautiful feel and print - wish more shirts came in fun colorful prints like this - but the fit of the collar just looks ridiculous unless it's buttoned up all the way. I really tried to make it work, but it didn't hang right at all and just looked silly. I think with such a lively print, there was a strong style statement without needing ruffles on the collar and if it had a traditional collar I'd have kept it. If it would have laid open in a visually appealing way somehow, I would have loved to keep it also. I simply do not want to go around with the collar buttoned up all the way every time it's worn.
