Rated 3 out of 5 by A beautiful shirt, but it's HUGE I love this shirt. It's a beautiful, airy and comfortable french blue shirt that goes well with most of my pants. The only problem is with the size. I bought my usual size 0 and it was HUGE. You should definitely order one size down or even two sizes. (I'm 5'4", 110 lbs and got 00 but still not confident if this is the right fit) It happens every time I shop online at Jcrew. Before Jcrew introduced XXS or XXXS (!), I always purchased my usual size and I never had size issues. Now it's almost always a wrong size if I shop online no matter how thoroughly I read the reviews. Jcrew, if you have to introduce new sizing like those with many Xs, you should at least keep the previous sizing standard constant so that people don't get confused. I loved Jcrew but now prefer shopping with other brands that have easy, straightforward sizing. April 25, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Beautiful, but huge! This shirt is a return to the quality I expect from J.Crew that has been sadly lacking for several years. The linen is gorgeous: substantial but lightweight, not sheer, and very soft, not scratchy like cheap linen. Unfortunately, I ordered my normal J.Crew size and it's like a tent on me. I will be returning for a smaller size. April 27, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Reviewed on the white style For my fit experience, please read my review on the white style - I would need to size way down. Very boxy cut. I tried the blue and green, and both are nice shades, and not sheer like the white. I thought the blue might be redundant with my chambray shirts, but the blues are very different. This blue is a fresh, bright blue versus chambray's slightly "old" blue. This almost has a hint of purple - almost but not quite - sort of a soft French blue. April 22, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by finally! - but, no I was waiting for a woman's shirt in the nicer Irish linen that is offered for men. It's a heavier weight with better drape. However, this shirt was wider and more boxy than I anticipated from the photo, and along with the large flap pockets, was not very flattering on me, so I returned it. The sleeves are not set-in, and continue out of the body with only a top shoulder seam, giving a sort of dolman look. The green was a pretty, cool tone with nice texture. For those who like the style, this shirt would be very comfortable on a hot summer day! I'm holding out for a more classic cut. May 5, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by SO WIDE! The model must be wearing an altered shirt. In reality, it is wider than it's length. Why are the men offered fine linen 'semi-fitted' shirts, while the women are offered triple-wide waist lines? Please help us! May 20, 2016
