Mini skirt in oxford check

Mini skirt in oxford check is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must have skirt When I ordered it I wasn't sure if I was going to keep it because it is still on a more expensive side for me. And usually not all skirts fit me well (I'm a small woman, with a post baby pouch :-))) my weight varies on my diet and something between 128lb-133lb, 5.4ft). But surprisingly this skirt fits me so well! I ordered size 4. It's not short at all! it hits me above my knees and covers my belly (my problematic area). I'm so excited I'm keeping it despite the price. This is going to be my workhorse skirt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome fit This is by far my favorite skirt style that J.Crew produces. It's so flattering and the length is perfect. I purchased the oxford check skirt and I noticed there are other colors available in this same style. I'll buy the other colors if I can find and purchase additional J.Crew pieces to make a stylish outfit which include tights. J.Crew would you please show us in your style guide (rather than by using a personal stylist) some complete outfits using the other colors (poppy, lilac and ivory) with tights? It's too cold in the winter to wear the skirts with bare legs (as shown online and in your style guide) and it would be helpful to know how to style these colored skirts with other J.Crew pieces and tights. Thanks for listening.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from If you are curvy/athletic --- you need a tall size If you have a butt, this skirt is quite short in the back. Tried ordering the skirt in tall early on, but it was sold out in this style. PLEASE JCREW, make more of these skirts in tall sizes for those of us who need better rear coverage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this look I managed to get the tall before it sold out. It's short but I'll wear it to work with black tights. The coat, which I absolutely love, completes the look.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pretty pattern; tricky sizing I purchased regular 0 after reading the reviews, many of which mentioned the skirt waist line fitting quite tight and the length being short. I am usually P0/P2/P25 on J Crew skirts and jeans. This skirt is going back because it is too large in both the waist and the hip: it was neither tight around the waist nor too short in length. J Crew sizing info describes regular 0 as 25 waist and 35 hip. But it feels more like 27 and 37. I am 5f, 107 lb. It is a cute skirt with a bit scratchy material but full lining. I like the wooly texture of the fabric. It is disappointing, not to mention the nuisance, that I have to return the purchase. Now P0/P00 are sold out. This problem would have been easily avoided had J Crew not gotten rid of petite shops in brick and mortar stores and had I been able to try petite clothes. There is a sizable market for petite clothes and tiny-sized shoes for small people like me.
