This is a very interesting product. The product could be a stain if it is used in the correct way. I recommend or wish that Mr. Ollivierre would add instructions to the product, or the page. I first saw this product on the blog post about S/S 2016 beauty notes and have been awaiting it's arrival. The product's texture is very thick and goopy. However, I apply a thick layer to my lips, rub the product in with both my lips and my fingers, and then blot it all off with a tissue. I am then left with a soft pink stain on my lips. I am happy with the result, but I would love to know the correct usage of the product. Especially on how Mr. Ollivierre used it to achieve the S/S 2016 look.

Rated 1 out of 5 by LWLW Not actually a stain...
So, this isn't what I think of when I think of a lip stain. Instead, it's a liquid lipstick. It's opaque, and sits on top of the lips, rather than being translucent and "staining" them. Perhaps they decided to call it a stain because it's long-lasting, I wouldn't even know, because I promptly took it off and will be returning it. If you want a liquid lipstick, though, you might be happy!

Rated 1 out of 5 by dime awful color and texture
I ordered the Peach Pink color hoping it would be a great blend ..not too pink, not too orange . I truly cannot even describe this color. It is neon salmonish, something! No color known to man. Awful texture...Like other reviewers stated, not a stain but not a lip gloss or matte lip either. The color just lays there like clown lips.(More like paint.) Don't bother with this one, even on sale, it's a waste of money.

This is not a stain. It is a weird color with a weird texture. You can't return it. I wouldn't recommend buying it.

I love jcrew but this was the worst purchase I've made with jcrew.shipped back. Thick, stringy, goopy.
