Having owned the early 1980's version of this polo, I was eager to order this one. I am keeping both colors I ordered- orange and white despite a few minor concerns.
Style: 5 stars
It is darling-- the alligator has the word "lacoste" stitched onto him and the cut of the shirt is definitely updated-- not a manly fit.
Quality: 4 stars
The shirt is very well made though the fabric is a bit light weight. This would not concern me except I think the white polo is going to require more thought in the undergarment arena.
Comfort: 4 stars
The fabric is soft. But this shirt runs small. I usually wear a size 8 shirt in
J Crew apparel. I ordered the size 42, and while it fits, there is no room for shrinkage. The arm bands are a tad tight.
I am 50 years old, stand 5"5', weigh 138, and am a 32dd

This is a super cute shirt but it runs so small! I am normally a size small/4 in Jcrew tops and I had to order a 40 to feel comfortable. The arm bands are super tight.

I bought this Lacoste shirt in white and was pleased with the fit of the body of the shirt (the size chart is accurate). Be aware that the sleeve band is a bit snug, and the white is very sheer, so you'll have to wear a cami underneath. Frustrating for this price point, but I'll keep it anyway.

I love polo shirts. I have an ancient J. Crew factory polo that is a summer staple with shorts. I wanted very much to replace it with this shirt. First try, ordered online, a bit small. So into the store to return I go. Second try, still too small. The arms of this polo are cut for a stick figure. I do not have plump arms by any means. But this shirt makes me look like my arms are toothpaste squeezing out of a tube. A smidge more room and the shirt would have been great. Alas.

Love the feminine design and the gray color. It runs about one size small, so order up a size. The quality of the cotton is not like it used to be; of course, that is typical of many brands, including Jcrew for the last few years or more. For the price and the lack of quality, I sent it back.
