I had to weigh in here because I don't find that this top runs small at all, nor are the armholes too large. I am usually an XS in J. Crew tops, a 2 in bottoms, and the size 4 fits perfectly. I am 5'-8" and 125 pounds. The cotton is soft, the peplum is fairly straight which is preferable for me as I don't like lots of ruffles. This is a classic that I am going to purchase right now in a different color (I got the white first).

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jenn Was so excited, but sadly disappointed
Saw this adorable top online, went to the store to try it on in my normal size 12. I loved the fabric, the style (though prefer a straighter peplum), you can machine wash it..but Unfortunately it runs small, except for the arm holes they are cut too large. These seem to be a problem for most J Crew sleeveless tops for me. I am pretty much an exclusive J Crew shopper, and love the clothes. I have found one sleeveless top that fits me perfect and it's the tiered drapery top. I would buy another but don't want to add more to my dry cleaning bill, plus I prefer cotton for the summer. I gave this top 4 stars anyway, if the arm holes would have been smaller I could have sized up for my bust (36D). Please, please J Crew make more cotton tops with eyelet like this one, just with smaller arm holes!

This did not catch my eye online, but it sure did in the store. I opted for the black in a ten. the peplum style is not gererally a great look for me. Ever. I'm a pretty solid 36b, and I usually have an issue with giant gaping armholes in anything above a 6, but not this time. I'd suggest ordering a size up. It's really soft and I like it a lot. I'd have gotten the red too if they had it. Especially because it was on sale. Rats

Rated 3 out of 5 by Luv2shop Runs extremely small
Absolutely loved this top after seeing it online but when I received it, I honestly thought I was sent the wrong size. Ordered a 16 and I swear it looked like a size 6 when I took it out of the package. Disappointed and going back

Rated 4 out of 5 by JCrewAddict Pretty top. Try it on.
I typically wear a regular 4 or petite 6 in button down shirts at J.Crew. I tried this top on with a fully lined T-shirt bra and the regular 2 (not a typo!) fit just fine. The back zip goes down to about 1.5" below the waist so you can get in and out of it. I can't relate to the reviewers who have said that this style is too small. I wear a 32D and found the chest area to be roomy. Bottom line? Try it on in store if you can. I gave it 4 stars because I would have preferred a slightly bigger neckline, showing a touch more collarbone.
