I wanted to love this because it is a lovely material and in many beautiful colors. But even in a petite, it was too low cut and the armholes were too big (both showing my bra). I wish J Crew would keep this in mind when designing things (even if it just means adding a button and making the arm holes a bit less generous), because there is no way around it and it makes it impossible to wear to work.

Another great staple shirt for wear to work or to any week/weekend event. The best part about these tops is that they are machine washable (on cold) and are so easy to wear with almost anything. I prefer to mix and match with skirts in the summer for work and jeans/blazers in the fall. The mix of color choices is also great for this top! J. Crew please make more tops in these machine washable fabrics!

It seems as if the carrie cami is touted as to go-underneath-all-your-professional-clothing/go-to-going-out-top, but I think this top is much nicer for both jobs. The sleeve is really more of just a really thick strap, but its enough that you could wear it to work without a jacket or sweater. And, it really drapes beautifully. I just wish the white were a little more opaque.

I purchased the green and the blue. I would have ordered the black, too, but it was sold out by the time I discovered this gem. Excellent for wearing under jackets and cardigans. I'm short and the deep v requires a cami underneath. This might not be the case on someone with a longer torso. TTS to a slightly generous. The green color is gorgeous.

The blue is a very flattering color. I have to fashion tape to make the neck less open but it looks great. It makes a great outfit with jeans when going out and with teddy pants for work.
