overall lovely pants. they run a tad small so if you are between two sizes most of the time, go with the larger of the two, or just size up one. the wool material is a beautiful medium shade grey. the description says they come lined but they are not. however, you might not even need the lining-these are not itchy at all. I am 5'10" tall and the 34" inseam is perfect. can wear with wedge-heel booties or flats.

These are very dramatic. The wool is nice but they are not lined (although the description says they are). They are very fitted around the hip and waist with a high rise.
I ordered my two usual sizes (00-0) but ended up with two of my smaller size (must have deleted the wrong one from my cart) and it's a touch small, and sadly the 0 is sold out right now. I think you want these to be close to the body or the line gets lost in so much fabric, but not so tight.
I have a small waist and long torso, and this is definitely the type of pant that accentuates a curvy waistline and bottom. If you're an hourglass shape, these should work well for you. I tried them on with a thin crepe (the grosgrain ribbon) top in black, tucked in, and with a medium heel this could be worn instead of a dress. I also tried it with a black wool schoolboy blazer and the fabrics are comparable, but not identical.
Beautiful, but I may need to return. ;(

I saw these and had to have them! (And my husband pointed out I have been dying for some fun pants). I'm short, but I didn't want to mess with the rise so I purchased the regular size in my normal 2. (The 4P might have worked too, but petites don't always fit right). The Inseam is crazy long, as expected, so I had them hemmed. They drape beautifully. I read where some ladies found them tight in the hips, but they seemed ok to me. The waist is a smidgen big, but not too bad. For reference my waist is 25.5 and fullest part of my hips are 35.5. I was disappointed they weren't lined, but after a minute of walking around I realized that would be too much fabric. I would love these in the Glenn plaid as well. Would love to see them in the spring in a cotton or linen in lieu of a maxi skirt. Big hint!

I love the wide-leg style of these pants. Such a nice switch from skinny everything. I agree with other reviewers this style runs slightly small. I bought them in black & the herringbone version, both classic staples that will get tons of use. I'll be rocking these pants with a fitted tank or tee & cropped leather jacket. I am 6' tall so the length was perfect for me. One fail for me is that these pants are not lined! Wool pants really should be lined J. Crew. The silk version with the feather print were lined which I thought was odd & made the silk version feel funny on.

I absolutely love the wide-leg style of these pants, but what makes them unique is the ultra-flattering, tummy-flattening stitched down pleats in the front. That is what sets them apart from other wide-leg pants available elsewhere. Wide legs are having a moment, and I personally hope they stick around for several more seasons. These pants are so beautiful and the wool fabric is so soft and flowy, they can be dressed up or down. They are perfect in every way except they are not fully lined. If they were fully lined, they would be truly perfect. Please keep making these pants!
