Sunday slim chino

Rated 4 out of 5 by Size down, runs large I jumped on purchasing these as soon as I saw them online. I usually wear a size 6, but I ordered the size 4 because I can fit into a 4 in J Crew chinos. I am glad I did because the size 4 was actually a little roomy. I am 5.3 and 132 lbs. These pants fit very much as they are described, but not so much as they appear on the model. I felt like the leg was not as slim as it appears online. I would say it is a little wider than a J Crew matchstick leg, and because of this they seemed too casual for me. What I did like about them was that they are incredibly soft, and light weight enough to wear now and into the fall. I purchased the warm brandy color and it is not as bright as it appears online. The true color is what you see in the catalogue. It is a lovely pumpkin shade. I hope they make these in a slimmer pant. July 24, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Wanted to love these.... I purchased two pairs of these pants and both stretched out so bad, I kind of felt ridiculous in them. They sit higher on me, hitting around my belly button. These will be great for lounging or running errands but for me, that's about it. I definitely recommend sizing down, as the pant legs aren't as slim cut as the picture. Like I said, wanted to love..... July 29, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Odd Fit: Too Big, Short, Baggy & Snug Tried these in a store and found them odd and disappointing. They are an awkward, unflattering length, which is why they're shown rolled. Rolling should be an option, not a necessity. I'm 5'5" and always a size 6 in J. Crew — used to pants being too long, not short. They were loose in a 6 so I tried a 4. They fit better but were now too snug at the top of the leg while still looking baggy and wide below. I agree with other reviewers that the legs are wider than they appear on the model. Too bad; the colors are nice and the fabric is soft. J. Crew, please make a long version of your Harbor Shorts as they are perfect. Please lengthen your Harbor Shorts into chinos, J. Crew... Rated 4 out of 5 by So soft! These are incredibly soft and comfy chinos. Sizing is tricky. For a "slim" pant they do run big. Size 0 fit me VERY loose, while size 00 was skin tight! I feel the style of the pant should be a relaxed fit. I am normally a size 0 in jcrew pants and that's what I'll keep (for reference, 5'4" @108 lbs). These are definitely your Sunday chinos, prefect for hanging around. Love the blue and quarry green. Also the painted version in vintage champagne. August 11, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Vacation pants. I love these chinos and took them on vacation, however they do run large and seem to stretch and go a bit baggy. I am 5ft. 4" and am size 6. I'm going to try them in a size 4 in a different color. The material is nice and soft.! July 26, 2015
