I took regular 0 and 00 in the store to decide if I needed a petite size. I didn't even bother trying the 00. With the size 0, I was surprised at how short this was on me (and I am only 5"1) but that was the only plus for this dress. The dress did not sit well on me and and just looked too busy! Furthermore the lace detail kept getting caught on everything (hooks etc). Also the lining of the dress was much thicker and more stiff than it needed to be so I kept having to pull down and straighten the dress in the short time I was trying it on the fitting room. Really, I did try and like this dress but on my smaller frame, it just didn't work. Perhaps taller ladies will be more successful. And one for J.Crew, why do you have to line summer dresses? I understand why this dress needs to be with the sheer lace detail but in general it is not a good idea with summer dresses. Furthermore, dry clean is very off putting.

Love the look of this dress--reminds me of the fantastic Ratti prints J Crew has used so well so often. Ordered it, pulled it on--and the lining instantly became charged with static and clung. In seconds, the lining hiked up to my hips and clung between my legs. Just wanted to get it off of me. I thought it might be winter, so I've tried it on a number of times in the past 2 weeks with the same horribly uncomfortable result. Not only that, the dress needs a lining, so the twisted, hiked-up fabric makes it revealing. I don't get it, the lined tweed dress this season didn't do this in winter. Wondering if the problem is that the lining and dress fabric are both synthetic and very thin so they take a static charge easily. Maybe a muslin lining would have worked. I don't know--but this should have been figured out before the dress was sold. Please don't suggest I spray my body with chemical Static Guard every time I put it on! Disappointing, dress goes back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Chippergirl Compliments galore on this very chic dress!
This dress was front and center in my local J Crew store, as I was walking by, and I knew I had to have it. Beautiful chambray color, with lined lace. The most unique, eye-catching detail, and you won't find this anywhere else. Fit perfectly (5'3" 114 lbs) in size 2. My employment is very high profile visual, and I cannot count the amount of compliments I have received from customers and co-workers alike. Thank you J Crew! Score!

This was pretty in the picture but when I received it, I was disappointed by the quality and shape. I generally am very happy with JCrew items and quality. But the material for this dress is scratchy (not just the lace) and not comfortable and the shape makes it look poorly made. I ordered size 4 and the fit is fine in terms of sizing---though a bit shorter than expected--but the poor quality is really unfortunate. It fits/looks more like something that is outlet quality. I am returning it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JCFan Lovely Dress with Unique Lace Pattern
I was hesitate to order it online after reading the reviews but when I saw it in store I fell in love with it. I am 5'3''1/2, 102-105lb (narrow structure, 14"1/4 shoulder) usually in size 0, 00 or P0 in J Crew but I can fit in P00 with this dress because they ran out of size 0 and P0, and P2 was a bit too loose on me. So I bought the P00 as it looks so pretty even though it is little short on me（about 3 inches about the knee). It looks prettier than the online pictures. For reference, when lay flat, should 13 7/8", armpit to armpit 16", waist 15", bottom hem 21", length 33"
Love the unique patterned lace design.
