Petite Martie pant in bi-stretch wool

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 30 reviewers.
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good fit; not so good quality I'm usually a p0 and p2 fits like a glove. For reference I'm 5.3" 110lbs; 32-26-35. I've been shopping at JCrew almost exclusively since 2000, but within the last few years the quality has dropped significantly yet prices are unchanged, which is extremely disappointing. First of all these pants have no lining. Secondly the material is cheap with rough fibers #feels soft but you can tell the fibers are short which is cheap#. A proper pair of wool pants have lining, period. The only reason why I kept these pants is because JCrew still knows fit and their navy blue is the best: A rich deep brilliant blue...not dull and old-lady like. JCrew, Please put quality and craftsmanship back as a priority. I compare all your wool items to my old Wool Gabardine & Wool Crepe suits--how many ladies remember what I'm referring to-- I bought right out of college in 2006/2007: made in Japan, exceptionally smooth wool, tight weaving, and LINING. Rated 4 out of 5 by Well made, stylish pant Good quality wool pant. Trim fit without being snug. I usually have a hard time fitting pants as I have a small waist. These fit like a glove; however, I can see how the waistband could be snug as other reviewers have noted. I rated 4 stars because the pant runs a full size too small. I purchased this pant in a 4P, but bought the cotton blend in my usual 2P. The 2 different sized pants had exactly the same fit. When I held them up together the 4P was maybe 1/4" larger. I recommend the pant, but order one size larger than your usual fit. October 10, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Runs small but beautiful fit and shape I ended up going 2 sizes up from normal (wanted them to skim but not cling to be more conservative for work), but they fit beautifully and really do give legs for days to my 5'2" frame. They're the first dress pants I've purchased for work in over a year. Only thing that makes them 4-stars instead of 5 is that the wool is a little itchy. But I bought 2 more pairs so not a huge issue. September 23, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Lovely pant but size up The hthr baltic color is very lovely. I ordered the petite 4, which is my normal size, but the fit is too tight. Def size up on this one. September 25, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Great material, loose in the knees I ordered my usual J Crew pant size, 6P, and the waist and hips fit perfectly. This is no small matter since I have curvy hips/butt (5'3", 125#). I love the material too! However, the knees were very baggy and loose giving a strange fit. I kept looking in the mirror trying to figure out what was going on. I was so disappointed because I had really high hopes for these pants. September 11, 2015
