Rated 4 out of 5 by joan Just a bit too low cut
I'm 5'2", 95 pounds, 31-24.5-33.5 and tried on the P00. The thistle color is a grayish-lavendar color with a nice sheen (although it arrives extremely wrinkly) and substantial weight silk material (my paranoid self thought the material might be dangerously snag-prone though). The body of the cami drapes nicely on the body, with about 3 inches on each side to spare which makes it have a lovely flowy quality. The straps are also a perfect width apart for my very narrow shoulders and the length hits at the perfect length a few inches below my pants waist.
My main complaint is that the V neckline is an inch too deep for my petite and flat-chested self (unfortunately, my measurements are with a push-up bra on). I debated having the straps brought up, but this made the top of the V sit too high on the collarbones and didn't look right. Such a shame - if the V were a little more shallow, I would be buying every single color.

First off, I'm very petite (4'11) and have a very short torso. I've been looking for a silk cami that isn't too sheer and fits my body without being too oversized and long. The Carrie Cami takes the cake. I ordered the 0P in the ivory/white color and it fits amazing! The cami fits snug under the arms and in the chest and flows across the body like a cool spring breeze. It is a little sheer, but not sheer as most ivory/white silk tops. The length is great. It's not too long yet not too short - as you can still see my pockets on the backside of my jeans. I'm very thrilled with this piece and will be purchasing the navy and black for spring/summer. Thanks, Jcrew!

I originally bought this in a regular 4, final sale, and had to have it altered to be appropriate for work and more casual situations. I am 5'4" so a petite makes sense, but the v is also quite deep. I think many women of average height could benefit from wearing a petite in this cami. The torso will be shorter though. Also, with this in mind, if you're 5'2" or shorter this top might be too low for you and you might have to get it altered.
What I dislike about this top and why I won't be purchasing anymore, is the poor construction. The edges of the top are held down by tiny threads. As you wear the top, the threads come apart and pull at the fabric. The top isn't worth the sale price, let alone the full price.

The blue Carrie cami is beautiful and the weight of the material is thick, but still drapes very well. I will wear it out alone or with something over it to the office, since I will not have to worry about anything showing through the material. Also, in my opinion, the cut of the v-neck is not too deep either for work - I am 5'4" and a 32D and ordered both a 2P and a Reg 0, but with a quality strapless bra on underneath it, I neither of these sizes showed too much for what is appropriate in my office.

I own this cami in black and ivory and I love them. I prefer them over the similar "classic cami" by a contemporary designer brand. The J Crew cami fits better and is really flattering. They're also a good weight. For reference, I'm 5'3", 112 lbs., and a 34B. I wear a size 4P in J Crew tops and this cami fits true to size. I plan on buying more colors.
