This top is adorable and versatile. It especially looks great worn untucked with shorts or skinny jeans, but can also be worn tucked into a skirt or trouser. The white has similar sheerness to a typical white button down and I am comfortable wearing it with a nude colored bra. My typical J Crew shirt size is a 0 -2 or a 2p-4p. After reading reviews about the top being large and long, I opted for the 2p which is just right. It still has the slouch plus the length to cover the back side on my 5'3" 118 lb frame. I do wish there was one more button between the two buttons though. Not everyone is a flat chested J Crew model.... Otherwise, I love the top!

I usually run at a petite 4 in j. crew shirts - when i size down any lower I get pulling across the bust, but in this I took a P2 and still had plenty of room. the single button hits right between the girls - it's aaaaalmost a little scandalous for the office but the fabric seems stiff enough to keep the shirt in place. I was a little surprised at the length of the top - almost tunic length even in the petite size (I am 5'1" but this was still unexpected). I like the half-tuck look but there was so much fabric in back that it looked silly doing that with this shirt (not a big deal to tuck it in all the way around, but it's a little lumpy with more fitted skirts, fyi). also fairly boxy so don't plan on layering any little cardigans over it. all in all very sharp as a standalone piece.

Rated 5 out of 5 by denisediv I do love it!
Based on the reviews, I did order a size down and it fits perfectly. I usually wear a XS and ordered the XXS. The quality of cotton is excellent. It is not stiff, at all. Highly recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by MadtownMom Perfect refresh for a summer basic!
I'm 5'2", 115 lbs, and 28 DDD/G. I typically wear XS/ regular 2 in tops, sometimes sizing up to 4 in petite sizes. Since the reviews indicated the top runs large, I ordered a 2P and a 0P. I actually ended up keeping the 0P. While the 2P also fit well, it was a little more tent-like through the torso, and that silhouette does not compliment my full-bust figure. The 0P fits a bit trimmer through the torso, but there's still plenty of room in the chest for me. I see that other reviewers weren't keen on the button placement, but it's absolutely perfect for me #AND there's no gaping!#. The length is long enough to cover my tush, so it's perfect with trim pants or leggings. It looks fantastic tucked into skirts and flare jeans. While the material is lightweight, I can just barely see my nude bra, so I don't consider it sheer. It does look like it'll wrinkle easily, but that's my only complaint. I'm so happy with this top! It's a fresh silhouette for a basic.

I have had my eye on this shirt for ages and finally decided to try it out. I am in LOVE with it. The cut is perfect - comfortable but very flattering. I wish this style of shirt was available in many other colors and prints (gingham please!), as I would absolutely buy them all. As many other reviews have said, it is on the roomy/large size so if you are between sizes, size down for sure. I went with my lower size and there is still plenty of room that it has the drapey loose fit that is intended.
