Rated 5 out of 5 by MadtownMom Perfect for petite proportions!
This top was originally offered in regular size only, so I tried three different sizes (0, 00, 000) before deciding that the 000 worked best. However, it was still too long. I then realized a petite size was offered! I ordered P0 and P00, and I'm keeping the P00 size (for reference, I'm 5'2" and 115 pounds#. It's nice and roomy without being too oversized, and while it's long enough to just cover my tush, like a popover should #at least that's my opinion#, it's not as long as the regular-sized one, which was way too big even in it's smallest size. I love the lightweight material and the contrasting buttons. I'll be curious to see how it layers under sweaters for fall, but for now it looks great paired with white skinnies and half-tucked into shorts. A keeper.

This soft indigo popover will remind you of a special gentleman's handkerchief pulled from a tuxedo to dab away your tears; it is that soft with a lovely hand and drape. The color is deep indigo, and the details are numerous from the buttoned placket on the sleeves to the pleated back to the tiny yellow buttons.
This is an exceptional garment I will wear for years. It will be a great transitional piece for the fall. Deep color but lightweight for hot Texas fall weather.
Everything about this top stands out, but the fabric is over the top. Thank you, J.Crew, for this winner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tati Comfortable and soft!
The two qualities that drew me to this item were a) the rich, saturated indigo color and b) the soft feel of the fabric. This is a light-weight fabric so it will wear well for 3 seasons of the year. I agree with another buyer's review that the shirt runs fairly large and that it's best to size down, 1-2 sizes. For reference, I am 4'11", 110#, 36B with broad shoulders and an athletic build. The style of the shirt is loose and casual so if you want to tuck it in all the way around, I would recommend sizing down, perhaps significantly so from your usual size. (For more sizing reference, I've recently bought the Collarless Leopard in P2, Ivory with Gold Dots in P4, Silk drapey blouse in a P0 and for this shirt I went with P00, after initially buying it in P0. The P0 was certainly comfortable, but if I tried to tuck it in to wear with dress pants, the silhouette seemed to balloon a bit and the length in the back was way below my bum. Sleeve ran past wrist a tiny bit.)

The color is gorgeous, fabric gauzy but not see through. I am 4'11" usually P2 but sized down to a P00.

I am looking forward to wearing the indigo gauze popover shirt. It's the perfect summer shirt for our Los Angeles climate. It is light and airy and has the long sleeves for sun protection. I love the color which is not a denim or
chambray. Originally, I ordered a 6P and an 8P and had to return them for a 4P which fits fine. I plan to get a few more for my backup supply. The style is timeless. I really like the way this shirt hangs on the model on the site.
