Collection cashmere cable-knit Rollneck^™ sweater

I bought this in late February, and sent it to Hong Kong and received it a few days ago. I have purchased many cashmere sweaters at J.crew online store and never had this problem. The cashmere sweater I got was extremely small and stiff, not stretchable like being washed improperly and shrunken to this status like a kid’s size. I totally understand it was a final sale item and not returnable, and it is in Hong Kong now, but I would like to express my frustration. The quality issue of this item is simply unacceptable as it is not of the correct XS women’s size and quality with such stiffness. I wish J.crew stores checked the item to be sold after receiving any returned item. Even they offered me a prepaid return option for US return, it was not feasible as I have to pay a lot to send it back from HK. My fault to buy it overseas and make it impossible for return.

This went so fast I was lucky to catch it when it was on sale and briefly back in stock in January. I ordered the ivory in my usual size medium, it's very well made and the cable knit detail is beautiful. For the most part it fits true to size, but is not very roomy. It is cropped on me as I'm 5'10, it hits just around the top of the waist band on my pants. Would love to see a version that's a few inches longer or a tall version, as well as more colors!

I was able to get this after Christmas on sale and I just love it! My opinion is the grey muslin is more striking than the solid ivory. The two tone gives it more depth. I’m 5’6 and hits at a great length. Incredibly soft and warm! Love it Got size M. Usually a small but with raglan sleeves bought bigger in case it shrinks a tad after washing .

This is definitely a JCrew Collection piece: a cut above. It has beautiful detailing. It is short, cropped and boxy. I am 5’4” and it hits me tight at my hips. Highly recommend!

This sweater is really beautiful. I read another review that said it was thin, and was worried. I’m glad I took the chance. I found the sweater very lux, a nice shorter length that matches my waistband. I’m 5’9 and wear a 27 or a 6. I usually so between small and medium. I got a medium in this sweater and the sleeves are a little long.

This is a lovely sweater, but not at all what I was expecting. It is not heather muslin and snow- it is all one color with no discernable color variation. It is basically an ivory cable sweater that is not as thick as last year's holiday sweater. Maybe the gray colorway shows up more, but this one was not what I needed so it went back. If you need another off white sweater this is very pretty- it fit me true to size.
