We headed to Drake’s atelier on Haberdasher Street in London’s East Shoreditch to see how its
archival designs and age-old craftsmanship have found fans in everyone from
HRH the Prince of Wales to DJ Marc Ronson.

Drake’s began handcrafting ties, scarves and pocket squares in 1977, using the finest natural materials from workshops and mills in the British Isles and Italy. Inspired by everything from travels abroad to the gentlemen of the East End, they create lively textured wares with an international flair that are rooted in British craftsmanship. “Our approach appeals to a modern-day Renaissance man,” says creative director Michael Hill.
