The Story: In 1786, dapper British entrepreneur Thomas Mason founded one of Leeds’s first cotton textile factories for shirts. One hundred and fifty years later, his mill would find itself supplying high-quality fabric to everyone from the royal family’s Savile Row tailors to World War I airmen.
