It doesn't get better than this. If you want a versatile chore blazer, this is the one. Fit is spot on. Great construction and attention to detail. I always get compliments when wearing it. I'm very pleased with this blazer, I'm 5'9" 160 Lb and the size 38S fitted me just perfect. The fabric is soft and the jacket is well constructed. I like how versatile this blazer is and the fact that it can be wore in many different ways with chinos, jeans and even with shorts looks good. I like so much that I ended up ordering another jacket, this time in Navy, oh and my wife ordered one blazer for her as well.

I like the fabric and the general style. It’s quite a boxy fit for a slim. Medium on a typical 38R jacket wearer (6’, 165 lbs). And the sleeves were extremely long with functional buttons at the cuff, which made tailoring difficult. I had them brought back over 2”. Disappointing, because I have many JCrew blazers that are spot on out of the box.

I bought the chore coat in skylark blue and loved it so much I immediately ordered the hillside green. The coat is perfect for so many uses. HOWEVER, I have always worn a 42R and the first chore coat (skylark blue) fit nicely. The hillside green in 42R was comically loose and the sleeves reached to the midpoint of my hands. I had to send it back. Now I don't know which of the coats was the sizing anomaly and I'm afraid to reorder another (and returns aren't exactly easy or fast via mail).

This is a perfect jacket if you're looking for an everyday piece that holds up in formal and informal settings alike. I'm 6'0 tall and slim and the 40L fits just right, it feels like it was custom fitted for my body-type. I wear it during transition seasons when it's not too hot nor too cold. But even in very warm days I can wear it unbuttoned and it feels cool. I think this jacket adds great versatility to a guy's wardrobe; my only peeve is that they should offer a broader option of colours, particularly neutral tones! I would not hesitate to order a light-grey and a sand-coloured jacket...
