Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't Be Beat I looked all over for a jacket that I could wear during the spring, fall and winter. Something that looked good but wasn't a bulky parka or a thin military jacket, both of which I already own. I remembered liking a Barbour jacket that a friend showed me a year or so ago so I decided to go for it and man, I'm glad I did. I'm 5'9 190 with a muscular build and short torso. Normally I'm in between a M and L depending on the brand so I bought a Large and it fits GREAT. I would say it definitely runs a little small but it just so happens to work out perfect for me. I've had the jacket for about three weeks, wear it almost daily and have gotten a ton of compliments. If you're on the fence, jump off and buy it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Durable, classic looking coat First on sizing, Barbour tends to make their products boxy and short in the sleeves. I was intrigued by the notion that this was more of a fitted/slightly tailored cut. Fortunately, it is indeed! However, this is not a slim cut but the waist and lower half is not as wide as Barbour typically produces. I am 5'10", 170lbs, 40 chest, 31 waist and went with a L. The sleeves length was adequate and not short. In fact, I like wearing the jacket with the sleeves rolled just enough to see the corduroy cuffs. This is a nice Spring, early to mid Fall coat that you could layer under. Its a coat that you could wear out to dinner or to the office - or raking leaves in the backyard. The picture on the website is fairly accurate as the coat is a dark navy color with the corduroy color being slightly more of a lighter shade than the coat itself - but still dark blue. I do believe that this is going to be my primary go-to coat. I am pleased with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Jacket I live in the pacific northwest where it is wet and mild for about half of the year. This jacket is perfect for keeping dry without adding bulk or too much insulation. I am a 44R and the XL fits perfectly. The jacket is trim, not overly baggy, with enough room for a layer or two if I need to add a sweater or blazer on a cold day. The jacket is well constructed and I have no doubt it will last a very long time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from rainy days transition its great utility style , Its fits small yet its not fitted as the image suggest. take a Large if you are a medium or it would be too small, but don't expect it to fit snug as the image it more boxy. Overall I like the classic style for men.
