Asymetrical striped ruffle top

Asymetrical striped ruffle top is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this! It's made of thicker material and very comfy, it runs slightly large. As a new mom, I love this shirt does a great job hiding my postpartum belly and adds a little drama to a everyday-wearing shirt ;)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Delightful Top, Difficult Fit I fell in love with this top the minute I saw it online! I immediately ran to the local J. Crew to try it on for fit reasons. I tried an XS (what I consider to be my standard size) and it was way too big. I went back with XXS and it fit perfectly. One thing to note is that it would be very tight in the bust for anyone with with a normal to large chest. Great shirt though for us small-chested girls.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from cute This is a cute top-I love the fabric (it's a thicker cotton) and it falls super flattering on small-waisted people. I took an xxs in this and wish it had long sleeves. I wore it for a few hours with a leather jacket and toothpicks to "mature it up" a bit. The peplum is adorable, but the stripes and the ruffle along the front of the shirt are somewhat juvenile. The review above says she will machine wash-I wouldn't recommend. As the description says "hand wash" and I can see why. This is a sturdier fabric yet you don't want to lose the bounce in the peplum hem.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from cute design but not for curvy girls I'm a curvy size 4-6 and I took a 4 in this top...it looked AWFUL. This top is meant for someone who has a very small, defined waist and straight narrow hips. Otherwise you will just look big and square. Usually peplum is flattering on people with curves but because the shirt is so boxy and short in length it just doesn't work if you have big hips.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Avoid if you have hips!! I'm 5'7" tall, curvy hips, average-wide shoulders, size 6. This top looked awful on me. The fabric doesn't have any "flow" at all - it's very stiff. The issue was that it didn't have seaming that accentuated my waist, so I just looked like a big striped box with a ruffle across the front. Plus, the peplum hit in the WRONG spot -- it simply flared at my hips and made me look at least one size larger! I love the concept of this, but the execution left much to be desired.
