Kenton leather cap-toe boots

Kenton leather cap-toe boots is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome boots, well worth it I've been looking for quality boots for ages, and tried several different brands and makes (including bootmakers both new and established) with no luck -- until I came across these Kenton boots. They have a great profile (not too chunky, not too slim), are super comfortable (a rarity for boots) and have a rubber sole that grips nicely for those frozen-over mornings. I've worn them almost non-stop for two or three months now, and while they've gotten scratched up, they're still holding up nicely. I'm hoping they'll last me for another few years. I dread having to look for non-Kenton replacements

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great boots Just got the boots today and I am happy with it. The fit is true to my size. The leather is one of those that easily marks when scratched so I applied shoe polish to protect the leather right after the purchase. This will be my staple this autumn. Goes well with jeans, khakis and Fridays. Try it now.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Dressy boot with rugged soles I chose the JCrew Kenton's because I wanted a sleek cap-toe boot with a rugged rubber sole. The leather is pretty stiff and smooth to touch. You can also smell the leather and sole, so there's that. But once I walked around in the house, I can tell the leather was loosening up, and its surprisingly comfortable. The welt is nicely done and the rubber sole looks decent, but I can't comment on its durability. The laces are not waxed, so lacing up takes some time because the laces need constant tugging. The color is a shade lighter than picture. Overall construction is surprisingly sturdy and weighted. My brannock size is 9.5D. I chose a size 9 in these boots and they fit snug, with slight room for the toes. Those with a high instep may want to size up. I bought these 40% off and it's a very nice value for what I paid. But at full retail price, you can do a lot better.
