Scoopback ballet T-shirt

Scoopback ballet T-shirt is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Fall I wish the sleeves were a tad bit longer. Other than that it's a great shirt. The material is not too thick or thin, perfect for the office under a blazer or on the weekend with jeans.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classic Top...TTS, but doesn't fit like the pic With the first reviews of this shirt out, I didn't know what to think with mine arriving in the mail today... This top is TTS ...I'm a size 8/Med/hourglass-shape and took a Med here, but it doesn't fit or "hang" like it does on the model (and I wouldn't want to size up as it would look sloppy). The fabric is quality though I would never have guessed linen...fabric feel is close to the Perfect Tees. The sleeves are definitely on the narrow side, but I'm a pretty average sized lady and they fit me fine. Overall this top has a more tailored fit than pictured, but it's flattering and though more structured (less like linen more like cotton), it works with the ballet shape of the neck- it's not going to slip around and off the shoulder). My only complaint is that it could be a bit longer. Otherwise it's a great basic, able to be dressed up or down.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cute fit, but CHECK WASHING INSTRUCTIONS The fit of these shirts is very cute- I bought one in black and one in maroon. Unfortunately, I thought they were like other J Crew cotton shirts, so I washed them before wearing them on delicate, but then put them in the dryer. They faded dramatically after the first wash- so I checked the instructions, and they said hand wash, lay flat to dry. Definitely my fault, but probably common if you buy a lot of J Crew shirts like I do, to not notice they can't go in the dryer.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Love the material and colors but... I have several of the ballet t's in short sleeve and love them so I bought two of the three quarter length sleeve t's with high hopes. I love the colors available and the material, as they are not sheer. My biggest complaint is the length of the shirt. I am 5'8, 34 d, and usually a small in jcrew tops. This top is really really short and does not hit at the same area as the short sleeve Ballet T. I am returning them and going to try the medium but Im not that hopeful that will work either, as the scoop in the back is low, so going up a size may cause it to fall off the shoulders.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very strange fit Do you like the picture and think it would look great on you? Yep, so did I. At 5'1", 110 lbs, I ordered my typical size of XS. After trying it on I'm wondering if I ordered the child's size M instead! Not only was it so tiny I could barely get the thing on, the drape on the décolletage hangs much too low and like an old, worn out, cheap sweater. As for fabric quality, it's too hard to tell when the size is awful and the cut is just plain funky. This is going back along with the six other items I ordered, all due to sizing and poor cut/design. I'm appalled that JCrew thinks it can charge these prices, at such a low quality, and have the gall to rarely have sales. If any Execs actually read their myriad of poor reviews, please be sure to let us all know when you decide to change your ways.
