Regent blazer in Super 120s wool

Regent blazer in Super 120s wool is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the style, but lost points on quality This is my favorite style of J. Crew blazer. Love the popped collar, and this one looks just as good with the collar down, for more formal business meetings. It's a great weight for summer into fall, lightly lined and nice to pop over a silk tank or tee once you get to the office. Unfortunately, mine had a small rip in the arm when I put it on at home, which highlighted the sub-par quality. For the price, I'd expect something with very high craftsmanship.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gorgeous but runs small Love the look of this blazer, and the Super 120s fabric feels incredible. Very soft to the touch, but the jacket is structured. Unfortunately it is quite tight in the upper arms/shoulders, and a little loose in the waist on me. I think I'm still going to size up and have it tailored because the style looks so great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great style I really like this departure from the usual conservative blazer. Very flattering look for a curvy figure, looks much better than in the photo. This was true to size for me compared to other JCrew suit jackets/blazers but it does have some extra material around the waist that makes it look better buttoned. Definitely not a dealbreaker.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice blazer for suit I bought this in navy with the matching pant to wear as a suit, and they look great together. The fabric is lovely (though could use a bit of stretch). I was worried that the collar couldn't be worn down, but I had it pressed and I think the blazer looks even better that way. The only drawback is the fit. I am 5'7" with a long torso and arms, and often have trouble getting long enough sleeves, so I bought the blazer in a Tall. I was glad I did that for the purposes of arm length (I had to have them shortened, but only slightly, and suspect the Regular would have been too short), but I wonder if the body of the blazer is a bit longer than it should be. I found that the blazer was much too large in the bust, waist, and sleeves--I ordered a 4, which should have fit well according to the size chart, but had to have the blazer taken in significantly.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Hoped it would flatter I am 5'-8" 134 lbs. and ordered a 6. The fit was a bit small and the stand up collar met in the middle of my chest and lay flat. Possibly because I have a smaller bustline - or maybe because the 120 fabric is lighter and just does not hold the cool popped collar look as other Regent jackets I have tried on, in fabrics with more body. As a result, on my figure, the look was boxy and unflattering. Sorry to have to take the jacket back.
