Product Details

The MA-1 jacket was originally designed for high-altitude fighter pilots in the military. As pilots flew at higher and higher elevations, the jackets were redesigned in lightweight nylon (instead of leather) that could wick away moisture, so it wouldn't freeze in the cockpit. But since you're unlikely to be taking this one into the stratosphere, we made it in wool for an updated, modern look.

Wallace & Barnes wool MA-1 bomber jacket

Wallace & Barnes wool MA-1 bomber jacket is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from THE ONLY BOMBER JACKET YOU WILL NEED. I do not usually like to write reviews, but this MA-1 Bomber jacket is so amazing that I had to write a review since there is not one. The dark navy blue wool used in this jacket is of high quality, and so is the construction. The jacket will definitely keep you warm in cold windy and rainy days. I highly recommend this jacket to anyone looking for a bomber jacket that can be dressed up or down. The fit is true to size. The jacket has two exterior snap pockets, and one open internal pocket on the left side. Skip the nylon bomber jackets and go for the wool. You won't regret it.
