Social Responsibility

How do we support our communities?
When it comes to giving back, we feel it’s important to do what we can to help in the communities where our customers and associates live and work. We proudly support a wide range of nonprofit organizations both locally and around the globe.

PUBLIC SCHOOL EDUCATION
One of the issues we’re most passionate about is public school education—and in particular, the support of teachers. Since 2011, J.Crew has donated substantial funding to our two core partners: DonorsChoose.org and Teach For America.

Garments for Good
Whenever possible, we like to use our creative resources to lend support, designing T-shirts and other items to sell in our stores and online and donating all our profits to the charity we partner with. To date, we have donated over $1 million to our partners through the sale of our Garments for Good.

J.Crew Cares
We understand the positive impact our associates can have on the community, as well as the impact meaningful volunteer opportunities can have on our associates. Our J.Crew Cares volunteer program invites associates to participate in group activities like revitalizing public schools, planting edible gardens and mentoring children. Since the launch of our program, thousands of associates have dedicated their time to making a difference.

Additionally, J.Crew offers an associate matching program that provides cash donations to charitable organizations based on personal time or money donated by individual associates.

DONATIONS
J.Crew provides support through clothing and product donations to Good360.org, a nonprofit organization that distributes items to community service groups that are improving the lives of people in need.
